 Small, privately held construction and multi-discipline design consulting firm seeks talented Architectural Designer for work on a variety of projects including work for government and private clients.



Primary duties include the preparation of conceptual drawings, renderings, and presentation materials; preparation of construction documents and the development of design solutions and details for all phases of a project; coordination of contract documents, in-house with consultants and beyond, working closely with team members to complete design and construction documents on time and within budget; assisting in the preparation of construction specifications; generation of revisions and corrections from review comments and red-lined drawings; participation in client presentations and review meetings; assisting in measuring and recording existing conditions, conducting on-site observations of on-going project in construction and assisting in contract administration/construction period services duties.



Minimum qualifications:

  • B.S. in Architecture and 2 years related experience required.

  • Experience in healthcare design preferred.

  • On track to obtain Architect license.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and BIM concepts required.

  • Broad base of working knowledge of building materials, construction methods and details, codes, and standards, and dealing with regulatory agencies including federal requirements.

  • 3D tools manipulations preferred.

  • Interest to learn and grow with us highly preferred.


This position requires the ability to work independently with little supervision, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively and provide both written and oral instructions easily with project team and other support staff.

Note: Working in office is preferable due to communication necessary and project volume. Possibility of occasional remote work, following training period; however local residence in or near Gainesville, FL is necessary to be available as needed to better serve clients.

 

Qualifications


  • Architecture Professional Bachelor's; Masters (Preferred)

  • US Validated Degree if Foreign (Required)

  • Revit: 1 year (min. Required)

  • ACAD: 1 year (min. Required)

  • Navisworks & FormIt: 1 year (Preferred)

  • US work authorization (Required)

  • Experience in Healthcare Design (preferred)
