SIMEDHealth is looking for a full time IT Support Technician. The IT Tech will participate in projects under the Director of Information Technology and must possess working knowledge of computers and troubleshooting.
The IT Support Technician is responsible for assisting employees with desktop support, fixing printer issues, troubleshooting office applications, along with detecting and solving technical problems when issues arise, to assure that SIMEDHealth continues to run smoothly. The IT Support Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all computer workstations and associated software within the company. The IT Support Technician is the first line of customer support for the organization and is critical in the everyday operations of SIMEDHealth. The IT Support Technician should be pro-active and assist the team in looking for ways to educate staff to help avoid support issues whenever possible.
Desktop technician will work at multiple locations. The hours will be split between locations. The work will be done during the hours the office is open, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. Some after hour time as needed. This position also has the potential to be a remote, work from home position; however, there will be on site requirements, so candidate must live in North Central Florida. The compensation is based on experience and can range between $20-$27/hour.
