Processing Technician

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client actively looking for Processing Techs. This is a position that can develop technical skills in areas surrounding processing, sterilizing, packing, and inspecting tissue. You will work in a team-friendly environment and must have effective written and spoken communication skills. Let’s get to work!

Alachua, FL

Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Full-time, various shifts may be available, but currently recruiting for 2nd shift

- Weekend Shift, Fri - Sun, 5am - 5pm 

- 1st shift 6am - 2:30pm

- 2nd Shift, Mon - Fri, 2pm - 10:30pm 

- 3rd Shift, Sun - Thu, 10pm - 6:30am

Salary: $17/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Stores and moves tissue to ensure accurate inventories

- Disposes hazardous and non-hazardous waste properly

- Processes tissue products accurately to required specifications

- Completes paperwork and performs data entry

- Performs tissue processing in accordance to instructions and Operating Procedures

- Responsible for cycle count activities

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Lab experience highly preferred

- General knowledge of anatomy

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows

SKILLS:

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Able to complete basic math skills in addition, division, subtraction, and multiplication
